Sandy House

Sandy House is the director of the Just For Kix Dance Studio for 21 years. 2 year Member of the Brainerd Kixters (placed 2nd at state in 1982 and 1983). Head Coach of the Park Center Pirouette High School dance team. Coach one year in 1984-85 & took 8th place at state that year. Sandy was the assistant Coach for the Brainerd High School Kixters for 3 years, 1985-1988 2nd at State for two years and 1st for one year. She is a Just For Kix instructor and Director from 1983 until present. She taught dance class in Staples, Brainerd, Little Falls and St. Cloud. Sandy has been in the St. Cloud area for 21 years working with dancers from age 3 through adults, teaching kick and jazz. She also taught and was Director for Just For Kix High School Dance Camps for 10 years (These camps were held all over the United States) She has assisted at National Bowl Games working with dancers to put on the half-time shows of the Holiday Bowl, Freedom Bowl, Orange Bowl and Out Back Bowl.

Meghan Hutton

Meghan is a coach of the Wayzata Trojet Dance Team. This year they placed 2nd at State in the Jazz division AAA and 4th in High Kick in the AAA division. Last year they were the 2006-2007 State Champion Dance Team. This coming year will be starting her 15th year on the Wayzata Dance Team coaching staff. Meghan grew up dancing at the Dance Shoppe where she was on staff there since 1988, she also graduated from Wayzata and was a two time State Champion as a Wayzata Trojet. During the years of 1994-1996 Meghan was a dancers, captain, and choreographer for the Minnesota Timberwolves Performance Team. This year she is starting a new adventure a Just For Kix instructor in the St. Cloud studio as well as Directing the Just For Kix Program in Medina, Mn.

Adina Belanger

Adina Balenager has accepted a dance instruction position with Just For Kix Studio in Brainerd and St. Cloud. Adina will be teaching ballet, tap, jazz lyrical and hip hop 3 days a week in Brainerd and one day in St. Cloud.

“We are excited to have someone of her level move to Minnesota to teach our students. She has such a great style, so much talent and so much experience. The exposure she has from teaching at the world renowned Broadway Dance Center will be such an exciting boost for our students,” says Cindy Clough who co-owns the studio along with her husband Steve. “When we put up the studio 2 years ago, we knew we would need to attract high level teachers to keep it thriving.”

Adina began her training in Marquette, Mi. She moved to New York after receiving an internship scholarship at Broadway Dance Center and continues to dance professionally as well as instruct there. Following the program, she was honored to work with Wes Veldink in the BDC program. Since, she has continued in her career, appearing in the dance DVD, ‘outer body experience’, with choreographer Moronie, “tangle”, a play, directed by Tai Dang, shows with recording artist Genna Young in NYC, and BOB Band in Washington, D.C. She has also appeared in episodes of TLC’s audition series’, ABC’s ‘Carrie Ann vs. Bruno: Dance Wars’ and commercials for ‘Second Skin Shop’. She was asked to join the contemporary jazz company “Pushing Progress’ with director Calen Kurka, where she enjoyed two seasons of performance at Alvin Ailey.

Alexandra Clough (Ali)

Ali Clough has grown up with Just For Kix. She is the daughter of owners, Steve and Cindy Clough, so spent her childhood at the dance studio, taking class after class. Ali has been a member of the Just For Kix Staff for many years. She was a student with the Storia Ballet for 10 years and grew up at the Just For Kix original studio as well. She was a member of the Brainerd Kixters Dance Team where she received MVP and All Conference 2 times. Two years ago Ali was chosen to represent Minnesota at the Miss Dance Drill Team USA competition in California. She is currently a full time instructor at the Just For Kix Studio and High School Summer Camps. Ali is known for her eccentric choreography, style, and
technique based instruction. She definitely has a knack for choreography and she is a favorite among students. She was recently featured with Shane Sparks in the Shane Sparks ad campaign.

Carlos Stroia

Carlos is well known throughout Minnesota for his high level of jazz/ ballet technique. Carlos danced PROFESSIONALLY at the age of 14. He represented Romania at the International Ballet Competition. Carlos works very closely with high school dance teams in the jazz skill of; leaps, turns and conditioning. He will work on barre and center work to strengthen your body and work on flexibility for jazz. Carlos will make a huge difference to your team, you will notice that your team has moved to the next level in this area.
