JFK Special Events:
Just For Kix offers MORE than a traditional dance studio. Special Events are what set our experience apart. Dancers can choose to participate in various events throughout their days as a JFK Dancer.
ANNUAL TWINS PRE-GAME SHOW: In early summer, join Just For Kix at the HHH Metrodome. Learn a mass routine. Older and younger dancers are divided up to learn a routine at the one-day clinic. Choreography is taught during the day
and performed at pre-game. Dancers join their chaperone in the stands to cheer on the Minnesota Twins. A fun filled family day!!

SUMMER DANCE CAMPS: Just for Kix offers dance camps all over the country. From day camps, one-day clinics, to overnight 4 day camps JFK has a camp experience
for YOU. Meet dancers from many other areas, learn silly cheers, watch the zany staff perform skits, hone in on your skills and technique. Learn edgy choreography!!! Since 1981.
DAY CAMPS in Bismarck, ND, Redwood Falls, MN, Brainerd, MN, Kasson, MN, Fridley, MN, and Detroit Lakes, MN. are designed for dancers K-9th grade.

** Parents, consider spending the 3 days with your child in whatever camp location you choose.
For example if you were to choose the Brainerd Camp, you could enjoy the lakes vacation area with your child. They can be at camp all day and you can golf at one of the 7 world-class golf courses and shop in quaint stores in Brainerd and Nisswa!! Dance camp in the lakes area with time for mom and dad too to have fun while their child is at camp. Hotel info available: contactstacie@justforkix.com
INTENSIVES are new to the JFK summer line up. In 2007 we debuted our first 2 intensives. Dancers traveled to Brainerd, MN where they stayed at “The Lodge” hotel
and danced in the all-new state of the art studio. This event is for the SERIOUS dancer. Classes in Pilates, ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop and more. Intensives are designed to take dancers to the next level with a high-powered week of high-level training. Must be 12 or older. Dancers attended the intensives from FL, IA, IL, MN, ND, SD, CO, and MS. Intermediate to advanced offerings. Dancers are chaperoned. Typically 100 students.
HIGH SCHOOL CAMPS: These camps are specifically geared to high school dance teams BUT welcome individuals who choose to participate. (More fun to come with a few friends.) Individuals will be grouped with individuals from other
towns to form a renegade team. Dancers are active from 8:00 am-8:00 pm. Chaperoned. Contest, games, fun times!! Great choreography. Full schedule. Camps in Brainerd, MN, Redwood Falls, MN, Bismarck ND, Storm Lake, IA, Ripon,WI.
DISNEY MAGIC MUSIC DAYS: Join dancers from all over the Midwest to perform at Epcot Center in Orlando, FL. The 2008 tour is scheduled for June of 2008. In August 0f 2007, 95 dancers and 200 family members enjoyed their days at Disney! From August 9th-12th, JUST FOR KIX dancers from 5 states joined together to perform at Disney Magic Music Days. The dancers came together at Disney’s Coronado Springs resort where they learned routines to perform at Epcot Center. Dancers were taught a performance dance within their grade levels, learned a finale, worked with actual Disney dancers and choreographers, and had lots of family time at the theme parks. The final product was a performance with all dancers coming together to perform at Epcot in front of a large crowd on a beautiful, sunny day. At the end of the tour, a banquet was hosted for all dancers and their parents at Isle de France at Epcot Center with the grand finale fireworks show, and dinner.

OUTBACK BOWL HALF-TIME SHOW and TOUR: For over 20 years, the owners of Just For Kix, Cindy and Steve Clough have spent their New Years Eve celebrating up to 650 dancers from all over the country. JFK is contracted to provide dancers and create a fabulous show for the New Years Game Half-Time Show. The week includes non-stop fun. It includes a trip to Disney, Busch Gardens, a dinner cruise aboard a Yacht on Tampa Bay, a beach excursion to the Clearwater Beach, and a formal Awards Banquet. PLUS performing both the pre-game and half time show. This is available to dancers 14 and older. JFK Executive Director says….”This is one event I strongly feel every dancer should try to participate in one time in their dance career. It is a once in a lifetime experience. So jam packed and fun!”

UNITED WE DANCE COMPETITIONS: Together we are all stronger!!! Competition breeds excellence. That is why JFK provides exciting competitive opportunities for their dancers. Currently there are 9 UWD events per season. Dancers from across the Midwest compete with other JFK teams. The positive environment as well as the timely scheduling is a PLUS with parents and fans!!!
