Just For Kix Chaska Dance:

Here at Just for Kix we feel that it’s important for young dancers to interact and learn as a team. Team based dance provides new and existing dancers with an opportunity to have fun while learning and growing as a group. We offer precision dance team instruction in over 150 Midwest communities and hope to continue to grow. By enrolling your son or daughter in Chaska’s Just for Kix dance classes you will be exposing them to quality dance instruction in a nurturing and culturally rich environment. There they will study and participate in various styles of dance including jazz, ballet, and tap. Group lessons in Chaska provide young dancers with the ability to learn and perfect new techniques while they create everlasting friendships with likeminded peers. Individuals who take part in team dance activities will develop remarkable socialization skills; achieve a heightened sense of self esteem, and learn key components in maintaining a healthy and physically fit lifestyle. These life lessons, among others, will benefit your child well into adulthood.

About the Chaska JFK Director Krista Sorensen:- Graduate from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a degree in Health Science/Community Health
- 5 year member and 3 year captain of the Minnesota State University, Mankato dance team; placed top 5 in the nation 3 years in a row at the collegiate dance nationals
- 4 year staff member with Just For Kix summer camps, 2006 veteran staff member of the year
- 2 year registered dance official with the Minnesota State High School League and the Judges Association of Minnesota Dance Teams
- Former dancer and captain of the Maple Grove Senior High dance team
- 13 years of studio training throughout the Twin Cities area
- Current head coach for the Maple Grove Senior High Junior Varsity dance team and assistant coach for Varsity
