Here at Just for Kix we feel that it’s important for young dancers to interact and learn as a team. Team based dance provides new and existing dancers with an opportunity to have fun while learning and growing as a group. We offer precision dance team instruction in over 150 Midwest communities and hope to continue to grow. By enrolling your son or daughter in Buffalo’s Just for Kix dance classes you will be exposing them to quality dance instruction in a nurturing and culturally rich environment. There they will study and participate in various styles of dance including jazz, ballet, and tap. Group lessons in Buffalo provide young dancers with the ability to learn and perfect new techniques while they create everlasting friendships with likeminded peers. Individuals who take part in team dance activities will develop remarkable socialization skills; achieve a heightened sense of self esteem, and learn key components in maintaining a healthy and physically fit lifestyle. These life lessons, among others, will benefit your child well into adulthood.

Welcome to the BUFFALO Just for Kix web page!

The Buffalo JFK program is one of 150 programs in the 7 state area. JFK employs talented Directors to implement their caring values and philosophies, while teaching and preparing dancers for high school dance team. The Buffalo JFK director is Ann Goenner. Ann began with Just For Kix as a 5th grade dancer in the St. Cloud JFK program. And now is beginning her forth season as a JFK Director. She has also coached the award wining Big Lake High School, Sartell High School, and St Cloud Tech High School Dance teams. A note from Ann: “My focus is to prepare dancers for high school dance team as well as teach them the rewards of setting goals and attaining them through hard work, while having fun at the same time. We pride ourselves in teaching dance skills, teamwork, self-confidence and the art of performing in a fun and energetic atmosphere!”

Just For Kix is a program of precision dance team instruction that allows young
people to experience the fun & rewards of dancing with a team. Along with
dance skills & many dance styles, dancers learn cooperation, perseverance & team
work. There are no auditions for classes, which run once a week. We welcome
novice as well as experienced dancers!!! Join the fun… join Just For Kix.

PHILOSOPHY: Our philosophy has always been to treat dancers, as we would want our own children to be treated. We want our studio to be a place where dancers feel valued and cherished. Our goal is to instill confidence and self-esteem, while helping them stay active.

TECHNIQUE and BASICS: Parents are amazed by how detail oriented JFK is. Basic placement and technique is a major focus. We work on creating good habits in the younger dancers, to prevent bad habits from developing. Cindy’s philosophy is TAKE CARE OF THE LITTLE THINGS and BIG THINGS WILL HAPPEN. (Possibly why the high school team she coaches has won 8 state championships as well as National Championship.) Instruction is VERY hands on and focused.

FLEXIBIBILITY and STRENGTH is focused on too! They are 2 key factors in a great dancer. Classes available for strength and flexibility. Challenging dancers to advance and progress to their top potential.

CHOREOGRAPHY: Our choreography is what built our business. It is creative and innovative.

DID WE MENTION FUN??? That is the NUMBER ONE ingredient. Our classes are fast paced and fun. We have great music and great instructors.

MORE INFO:
1. Perform multiple times per season at large-scale events.
2. Older classes compete in a “low pressure” environment. (4th grade and up)
3. Costumes/uniforms are reasonably priced. Kick classes use them for 2 years. Many times because of the JFK network your used uniform can be sold to dancers in other communities.
4. Organized. We get it done! Class time is maximized so every minute is utilized.
5. Start on time and end on time.
