Just For Kix Overview:
Just For Kix was established over 25 years ago and provides excellent dancing and performing opportunities for young people. Just For Kix oversees dance team programs in over 150 communities and provides instruction over 20,000 dancers throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and Wisconsin. The Just For Kix motto, “doing your best is more important than being the best,” puts the prime motivation on team work and self-esteem. From the Director:

I’m excited to be joining Barnesville Community Education’s Just For Kix. My name is Emily Dillon. I am currently an NDSU Sophomore(2008-2009), majoring in Business Adminstration. In the summer I live in Pelican Rapids, where I have lived all my life. My own dance experience began in Just For Kix when I was in 5th grade. I continued to dance for JFK until 10th grade. Pelican Rapids High School gained a dance team (Valkyries) when I was in 9th grade. I started on the Valkyries that year and continued through my senior year. On the Valkyries Dance Team I was a High Kick Choreographer for 3 years and a Co-Captain my senior year. I began working for Just For Kix last year (07-08) in South Fargo as an assistant and absolutely loved it! Just For Kix is a great experience for dancers of all ages. You’ll find good customer service and quality routines, costumes, and music. In teaching dance, my goal is for my dancers to learn and progress in our dance classes, have a fun and productive season, and (most of all) for your dancer to come off the performance floor feeling proud of herself for a job well done. I am always open to comments, concerns, or questions. Please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’m looking forward to a great season!
