General Class Info:

• Welcome to Alexandria Just For Kix! Just For Kix is a program of precision dance team instruction for children ages 3 years old through 12th grade . Dancers learn technique, skills, and various dance styles including ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical, kickline, funk, hip-hop, pom, novelty, etcetera. All choreography and music is age-appropriate. Just For Kix teaches cooperation, perseverance, and team work. As there are no auditions for classes, the focus of Just For Kix is on self-esteem and motivation. The dancers practice weekly from September through April and perform apx. six times per year (often more) at various events in the community along with having a large Community Show, Winter Show, and Spring Show. Dancers also have the opportunity to compete in tri-state dance competitions, attend summer camps, participate in a national bowl game, and perform at a Twins game. All dancers, novice and experienced, are welcome!
